A robust passivity based control strategy for quasi‐resonant converters

This paper presents a robust passivity-based control (RPBC) strategy for half-wave zero-voltage switching quasi-resonant (HW-ZVS-QR) buck and boost type converters. The proposed controller is based on energy shaping damping injection. Theoretical analysis shows that the resulted closed-loop HW-ZVS-QRs are globally asymptotically stabilised even if physical constraint magnitude of signal taken into account. Also, an integral function output error added feedback path conventional design. As result, such not only offers global asymptotic stable operation but also provides strong robustness to wide range parameter mismatch. It demonstrated stabilises converter in cases where widely used linear multiloop fails. Finally, some simulation experimental results comparing performance RPBC with presented.
